PURPOSE OF JOB/POSITION
This individual will assume responsibility for overall GEM vaccines governance, particularly around vaccines commercial operations, MRP/LRF forecasting, business development assessment, brand planning, market research & competitive intelligence, supply chain planning/coordination, launch mile-stones & KPI tracking, to maximize commercial potential for the Takeda Vaccines portfolio in Growth and Emerging Markets (GEM), including future product launches.
This role will be based in Singapore and reports to the Head of GEM Vaccines. This person will work closely with GEM country organizations (LOCs) as well as cross functional groups in the region, including Commercial Operations, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Market Research, Compliance, Pub-lic Affairs, Communications, Digital, Supply Chain and Regulatory, and the company\xe2\x80\x99s Global Vaccines Business Unit to support regional brand plans which optimize market share, revenue growth and overall franchise P&L.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Supporting DD&T on the development of GEM Vaccines Insights & Analytics strategy and implementation of dashboards
  • Leading forecast processes for MRP and LRF, including providing guidances to Area and LOCs, as well as development and maintenance of GEM vaccines forecasting models
  • Performing impact analysis and decision support for GEM senior management
  • Providing commercial assessment for selected business development projects
  • Partnering with Global and other GEM Vaccines brand directors to support brand planning and market research activities, including in-market testing, market segmentation, competitive intelligence and overall campaign performance
  • Collaborating with Global, GEM and LOC supply chain to ensure that our Sales and Operation Planning are coordinated and aligned throughout the organization to optimize supply
  • Partnering with Launch Excellence to ensure consistent launch preparation at various launch mile-stones and best-in-class launches across all markets
  • Manage project budgets
  • Demonstrating company values on a consistent basis while acting in compliance with all laws, regulations and policies

  • Proven ability in marketing and sales and ability to develop approaches and methods to identify and derive market and customer that critical for launch sequences and maximizing launch product values
  • Proven ability to understand the GEM region, identify business opportunities, develop analytics-based strategic plans, establish cross-functional/geography partnerships and drives actionable decisions to deliver on short and long-term growth targets and operational excellence
  • Proven interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility with Area/Country GMs and to collaborate with them on implementing key initiatives

Critical business expertise
  • Strong financial knowledge to deeply understand the financial implications to GEM P&L

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Biological and Medical Sciences, or Medicine or Business Management or equivalent knowledge experience is preferred
  • Business knowledge, MBA preferred
  • Fluent English speaker to ensure effective communication across the region and to Global
  • >5 years of standard-setting performance in this role or a comparable role
