You will be in charge of monitoring and improving the top line of the retail business of Lazada at regional level.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead regional initiatives to boost retail revenue, considering the health of the business. This includes (but is not limited to): project strategy definition, performance follow-up, definition of key SOPs to facilitate operations, performance tracking tool building - all of this in collaboration with Finance, Logistic, Business Intelligence and country teams
• Share insights and regional key accounts teams and local commercial team to guide their actions

Identify relevant brands to onboard on retail in light of market potential, competitive situation and/or and current performance

• Review and monitor the GMV performance of Retail brands and the brand portfolio, incl. regular business reviews and target setting

Depending on the evolution of the business and projects, this role could also involve profitability (e.g., JBP negotiations) or experience (e.g., free shipping price competitiveness which impact conversion rate)

Job Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Data analysis skills, ability to transform data in information and insights; Excel modelling skills
• Strong people and communication skills, e.g., actively involving and coaching local ventures counterparts, coordinating multiple stakeholders, reporting to large audiences or senior management
• Problem solving/thought leadership and business sense, ability to be a thought partner to local ventures on areas of expertise
• Strong analytical, business, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel, plan for projects, manage own time and priorities
• Previous experience in retail industry and/or FMCG/groceries categories is a plus
• Fluency in English
• Tenacity, resilience, and a quirky sense of humour
