The Commis Cook is an essential member of the Food & Beverage team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests. our kitchens are always in overdrive, meeting the demands of all of the hotels Food and Beverage operations. The Line Cook prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner per guest orders from all outlets in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. The Kitchen presents and endless amount of opportunities of learning and growth for line cook positions of all levels.
Job Requirements We are looking for an individual who is passionate about cuisine! Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are required in this position. The commis cook works together with other team members on a daily basis to ensure a flawlessly executed final product and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors is required. Excellent communication skills are essential. The commis cook position is required to operate, maintain and properly clean a deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, meat and cheese slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill. Proficient knife skills are also required.
