JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Regularly review and conduct risk assessment of existing Company policies, procedures and practices and ensure company's operations are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and latest MAS requirements
• Provide advised on Banking Act, including AML/KYC/PDPA and company's compliance policies, procedures and Compliance program, as well as the annual Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment
• Identify potential legal and compliance risks via conducting assessment and recommending action plans to mitigate such risks
• Manage the Suspicious Transaction Reporting process to investigate suspicious transactions and ensure that such transactions are reported to the authorities and documented appropriately
• Educate and train staff on applicable rules and regulations and company policies and procedures
• Any other ad-hoc matter / initiatives / project related to Compliance/ legal and government's rules

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma (preferably in Legal/Accounting) in with a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience or knowledge of DPO
• Ability to handle legal and compliance work independently
• Ability to work under pressure and produce timely results
• Compliance experience in financial institutions will be an advantage
