Scope of Work
\xc2\xb7 Uphold safety, health, environmental and worker welfare performance of site execution activities in assigned area.
\xc2\xb7 Implements and sustains a strong safety culture together with Contractor, its Sub-contractors and Vendors by monitoring site activities and by inspiring safety commitment via demonstration of safety leadership.
\xc2\xb7 Ensures compliance to all relevant safety, health and environmental procedures and policies to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
\xc2\xb7 Plans, leads and attends daily safety visits in assigned areas.
\xc2\xb7 Upholds Project Quality and NNM (Not Normally Manned) requirements in assigned scope through visible support to the Project\'s Quality Management System and Quality leads, and ensures Contractor and sub contractors execute work to the highest level of quality possible to facilitate a trouble-free start up and long-term facility availability and NNM reliability.
\xc2\xb7 Safe and efficient execution of assigned construction scope to deliver Mechanical Completion (MC) & Ready for Commission (RFC) status in line with facility NNM requirements.
\xc2\xb7 Participate in constructability, HAZID(Hazard Identification), design etc reviews and construction review meetings and complete all required internal reports
\xc2\xb7 Ensuring the areas of concerns and specific technical issues are identified and tackled on time, with relevant mitigations in line with project specifications and requirements.
\xc2\xb7 Review, verify and support the delivery of Contractor\'s construction sequence, construction engineering, work plans, pre-task planning and method statements to ensure construction activities are completed in accordance with Crux Project procedures, regulations, specifications and standards.
\xc2\xb7 Support the design process in DD(Detailed Design) to pro-actively engineer for Construction safety in design including i.e. minimizing work at height, confined space entries, congestions of work fronts etc.
\xc2\xb7 Provide assurance and support to Contractor in planning, scheduling, and implementing the construction execution plan, method statements, and other relevant procedures to ensure the work plan and scopes are aligned with project strategies and deliver the safe execution of the project.
\xc2\xb7 Identify project deviations and schedule slippages, raise visibility of this with the project management team, and support Contractor in implementing the required solutions.
\xc2\xb7 Support and drive implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives with Contractor with a focus on increasing productivity
\xc2\xb7 Monitor project construction progress across assigned area ensuring adequate control. Supports construction reporting as required by Project Management ensuring the content Contractor\'s reports and records are reviewed.
\xc2\xb7 Support effective implementation of Advanced Work Packaging by Contractor on assigned scope;
\xc2\xb7 Assure Contractor follows path of construction towards construction completion and provide assistance and direction in the Mechanical Completion, collaborating closely with CSU(Commissioning and Startup) organization in coordination and SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations )management of Commissioning and Start-up activities;
\xc2\xb7 Working with all involved parties to facilitate these activities.
\xc2\xb7 Timely identify and escalate issues to construction manager
\xc2\xb7 Provide technical advice in respect to the delivery of construction and mechanical completion activities and manage construction related risks.
Requirements:
\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 10 years of construction management experience, at least 5 years as construction engineer on (part of) a similar project (10 kton topsides platform)
\xc2\xb7 Proven ability to deliver through a team and/or multiple functions
\xc2\xb7 Experience working in Singapore and/or with SMOP will be an added advantage
\xc2\xb7 Background in QA/QC, L&H (Lifting and Hoisting) and/or dimensional control will be considered beneficial.
