We're a collective of individuals who come from a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences. One thing we have in common? Our love for language, and how it can be used to shape even the smallest of interactions. We believe that words have the power to reduce friction, simplify complexity and inspire delight. Our team works closely with multiple functions including product managers, product designers and researchers to understand product and design requirements, business goals and user needs. We consider what our audience thinks, feels and needs at each point of the user journey, and strive to make this experience seamless and delightful. Typically, our content helps users to scan information, navigate our platforms and complete tasks with minimum effort. Our work isn't limited to English -- we support 8 Southeast Asian languages, localising the language for each market while unifying the experience through a single brand voice.

We're looking someone with an infectious energy for using language to shape user experiences. You're ready to dive deep to understand user needs, behaviours and emotions, gathering insights that inform product strategy and design. You're a great communicator and culture champion who's able to motivate and coach team members to do their best work in service of the OneGrab spirit. The Day-to-Day Activities
Manage a diverse team that delivers on multiple projects across tech families and timelines
Coach team members to increase their impact, develop their strengths and grow their careers
Provide regular performance feedback, check-ins and reviews for people who report to you
Influence and contribute to the shaping of the product strategy, research plans, and end-to-end customer journeys
Through data insights, be able to identify and act on opportunities where content can deliver greater customer value
Lead conversations, workshops, and relevant activities with stakeholders to drive effective UX and writing decisions
Actively build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Collaborate closely with a diverse set of specialists, including UX designers, researchers, visual designers, product managers, product analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to build great user experiences which deliver business results
Ensure a consistently high bar is set for quality user experiences, which you maintain through regular critique sessions with your writers
Be a strong and visible advocate for the content design discipline throughout the organization
Where necessary, take the lead in designing and implementing processes that enhance ways of working and productivity for the team
Collaborate effectively with localisation and content operations teams to ensure workflows are optimised for smooth handover of content
The Must-Haves
5+ years of UX writing or relevant design experience, including at least 2 years of people management experience
End-to-end problem-solving skills; you avoid working in silos at all costs
High-level skills in UX thinking and content writing, with deep understanding of research, UX strategy, experimentation and accessibility
Excellent understanding of user experience design for the web, mobile, or touch devices - Resilient with a growth mindset - Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Experience applying a universal brand voice with various tones for different audiences/segments
