Responsibilities:
Establish and lead the QS & Contracts function across multiple regional offices.
Provide oversight and guidance on contract administration and project cost management.
Support senior management in departmental matters and strategic initiatives.
Lead the team through all project stages, from design and tender to construction, completion, and final account closure.
Draft and review contractual correspondences, variation orders, extension of time claims, and related documentation.
Review tender submissions and provide direction to the team.
Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and terms.
Monitor project costs, progress, and compliance with contract requirements.
Collaborate with project teams to assess claims, manage disputes, and ensure timely resolutions.
Oversee project accounts, payments, and final settlements with all parties.
Ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture or a related discipline
At least 8 years of relevant working experience
Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract and contract administration practices
Meticulous, responsible, and able to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
Effective leader and team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Regional experience will be an advantage
