About Company:
Our client is a Japanese One-Stop Centre which has been in Singapore for more than 30 years. It started as a wholesale business for Japanese restaurants and supermarkets. Currently having 4 branches in Singapore and well-known for its fresh sashimi which is directly imported from Japan.
:
- Involve in daily kitchen operations (such as opening, closing, preparing, cooking, and cleaning).- Assist in preparing /cutting food ingredients (before and during operations).- Maintain the highest standards of food service quality, cleanliness and hygiene.- Ensure freshness and quality of all menu items.- Keep workstation and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.- Manage and maintain all inventories and equipment within the kitchen area.- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in Western/ Italian/ Japanese cuisine- Able to commit to work overtime if required- Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays- Able to perform shift work- Able to commit to work independently with minimal supervision- Responsible and trustworthy
Compensation:
- Working hours: Sun - Thu (10am - 10pm), Fri & Sat (10am - 11pm)- Work week: 5.5 days/ week- Working location: Somerset- Salary package: Basic + Fixed Allowance + OT Pay- Variable Bonus- 10 days Annual Leave (1 day increment every year, cap at 15 days)- Birthday leave and birthday voucher- Increment after confirmation & Annual increment
