Job Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic communications counsel to senior management.
  • Lead and drive communications events/campaigns to promote awareness of the Bank\'s priorities in line with its strategic directions.
  • Collaborate and work with relevant teams within the bank to engage with business/functional stakeholders in execution of identified communications initiatives.
  • Engage with digital communities such as through social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn).
  • Manage issues/crisis as the need arises, and where appropriate consult also with external third parties.
  • Support communications efforts for internal projects, as and when required.
  • Develop content for a range of communications initiatives, including reports, infographics and opinion pieces.
  • Guide team members by providing direction and helping to refine ideas and content.
  • Ensure quality and consistency in materials produced and published.
  • Develop an integrated strategy to promote employer branding effectively through various platforms and channels, including but not limited to, microsites, social media, and recruitment events.
  • Plan and execute campaigns, events and narratives (e.g. articulating employee stories) to effectively communicate and support Bank employer branding.
  • Develop campaigns and communications to strengthen employer culture and identity so as to promote brand advocacy amongst employees.
Job Requirements
  • Preferably at least 8-10 years of experience in a corporate communications / media relations role. CVs with experience from the financial and tech industry will be prioritized.
  • Strong communication skills including storytelling and excellent English writing skills with the ability to bring ideas and narratives to life in a concise and engaging manner.
  • Keen understanding of media and social media workings and landscape.
  • Ability to identify and cultivate media relationships.
  • Ability and willingness to keep up with current affairs, news and relevant industry developments.
  • Strong understanding of the business impact of communications, with the ability to interpret business objectives and data.
  • A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Resourceful and adaptable, with an attention to details.
  • Familiarity with the Banking and Finance industry is a plus.
