Apple’s Corporate Law group is looking for a Corporate Counsel to support Singapore and India entities and APAC regional expansion. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic, experienced, and highly skilled team on issues impacting Apple’s business with a particular focus on business expansion, corporate entity maintenance, and corporate reorganizations.

Key Qualifications

• Demonstrated in-house or law firm experience with international corporate legal matters
• Experience with subsidiary corporate maintenance and new entity establishment in India, Singapore and across a broad range of jurisdictions in the Asia Pacific region
• Experience in the following areas is highly desirable: subsidiary formation, capital contributions, intercompany lending, dividends and other distributions, post-acquisition integration, powers of attorney, and liquidations
• Sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to juggle multiple projects under time pressure
• Ability to clearly organize and inform through excellent written and verbal communications
• Excellent ability to analyze problems and come up with practical solutions
• Ability to distill complex issues and situations into concise summaries
• Strong collaboration skills to successfully work across business functions and geographies
• Motivated to work in a truly international environment

Description

You will assist with India, Singapore and other APAC subsidiary legal management and maintenance, including coordinating subsidiary board and shareholder meetings along with our team of paralegals Assist with business expansions, corporate reorganizations, and acquisition initiatives Partner with various business and legal units including global finance, treasury operations, tax, M&A, and commercial legal to implement a broad variety of international corporate subsidiary projects

Education & Experience

Qualified to practice law in Singapore or India and possesses excellent academic credentials
