Our client is an established and leading Global Shipping Operator in the Shipping Industry. They are looking for an energetic and highly analytical Crewing Manager to join their Crewing Team here in Singapore. The ideal candidate would have proven track record in developing and implementing operational excellence initiatives & projects for the crewing department in the shipping industry.Responsibilities: . Track crew change quality including adherence to COVID precautions . Monitor & report spend on COVID precautions and other non-budgeted items . Ensure accurate data is available for analysis, implementation of initiatives and reporting . Research and benchmark with industry best practices to anticipate the Company's future needs in terms of crewing requirement . Analyse Crewing financial and non-financial data and submit a report together with the findings and analysis to the stakeholders for appropriate decision making . Monitor retention, attrition, and recruitment. Take actions to strengthen crew pool . Identify and develop strategic sourcing options of sea staff with defined criteria. . Management of external vendors including benchmarking, service delivery as per established SLA, invoice verification . Review, improve and align crewing processes for consistent implementation across all regions . To fill in for crewing team members on leave as well as actively participate in ad hoc tasks assigned. . Ensure compliance of the Crew with the Company policies including safety and environmental policy.Minimum Requirements / Qualifications: . Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in marine crew management . At least 3 years of supervisory/ managerial experience in crewing . Good knowledge of international crewing regulations including flag state requirements, STCW, ILO, MLC2006, etc. . Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills . Strong organisational and presentation skills . Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerpointOthers: . 5-Day Work Week . Nice work culture and office environment .
