Our client is a global leader specialized in international transportation, freight forwarder, supply chain management, and packaging solutions with offices in over 20 countries.
Responsibilities:
Answer all incoming calls promptly and politely
Respond to customer enquiries promptly
Handle all air import shipment activation with interface with multiple parties (internal and external customers/ stakeholders) on shipment requirements
Check on AWB/ HAWB and all other necessary shipping documents and feedback to customer and overseas agent if any discrepancy/ non-compliance issue
Obtain charges approval from customer/ overseas agent before shipment delivery
Provide flight details and feedback to customer on freight status timely
Ensure import custom formalities are executed and follow up with customer agent if not ready within the agreed KPI
To ensure import permit utilized or cancelled before expired and job file closures within KPI
To review the inventory list sent from warehouse team for the unattended cargoes and action accordingly
Perform recovery to shipment arrived to warehouse with discrepancy without survey performed at terminal
Monitor shipment arrival as well as updating shipment delays to consignee and follow-up with origin stations whenever occurs
Good understanding of customers\' SOP and shipment handling requirement by ensuring compliance prior to shipping from origin or delivery to consignee, with customer satisfaction
Take on all other ad-hoc tasks delegated by supervisor/ manager
