Customer Service Executive (logistics)

Job Description


  • Handle customer\xe2\x80\x99s inquiry (phone calls/emails) and to arrange transport (e.g. lorry cranes, trailer, etc) accordingly. If necessary, coordinate with warehouse supervisor on receiving and releasing.
  • Assist in providing quotation to customer and resolve any potential issue with their orders.
  • Ensure proper and timely billing/closing of all job files and forward to the billing department.
  • Assist to follow up and update system on vehicles LM/LG cert expiry date, annual LTA inspection date.
  • Provide support to import/export shipments processing and arrangement and co-ordination with various parties (including customers, overseas agents, carriers, NVOCC, co-loaders) on shipments clearance/delivery/collection.
  • Monitor vessel berthing/schedule via PSA PortNet and Jurong Port System.
  • Any other Ad-hoc duties assigned.

Job Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma with a minimum 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in shipping/freight forwarding or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge in all aspect of operations (booking, documentation & customs clearance processes in both import & export cargo).
  • Positive attitude, Self-motivated, Customer Oriented, Strong problem-solving skills, Meticulous and willing to take up challenges.
  • A team player, excellent written, communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Ability to multi-task, embrace change and innovate in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Woodlands Work Week: 5.5 Days (Mon-Fri 8.30am \xe2\x80\x93 5.30pm, Sat 8.30am \xe2\x80\x93 12.30pm)
