The Customer Support Representative is responsible for creating a positive relationship with the customer and ensuring that each interaction with Floyd Australia is an efficient and satisfying experience.

The Customer Support Representative role includes servicing the needs of Floyd Australia’s existing clients, responding to new sales inquiries and to support the activities of the external sales team.

Skills
Excellent organisational, administrative, communication, time management, record-keeping and computing skills are essential for the Customer Support Representative role.
The Customer Support Representative must also demonstrate attention to detail so that they enter customers' requests accurately and issue clear instructions to other departments.
The Customer Support Representative must have good interpersonal skills to deal with customers and collaborate with other departments in the company, such as production, accounts, Marketing, and distribution. They require excellent customer service skills to enable them to deal politely and effectively with customers’ inquiries or complaints.
Duties/Requirements
The internal sales team carries out a number of functions to help the external Sales Team do their job more effectively. They contact customers and prospects to update them on the status of an order or a delivery. They provide company Sales Representatives with details of customers’ orders and requests for quotations and make them aware of any problems likely to affect customer relationships. They handle telephone calls or acknowledge customers’ e-mails or letters.

• Actively work as part of the customer service team.
• Receive inbound customer sales inquiries and provide quotations, product / service information, support, and pricing details in response to inbound enquiries, promoting the features and benefits of the company’s products / services.
• Process sales orders and arrange the dispatch and administration of products / services sold. • Receive, manage, or escalate customer complaints related to the sale of the company's products / services.
• Inside sales practice of selling remotely from within office, by scheduled customer calls each day. • Maintain sales statistics and records of sales performance.
• Identify areas for improvements where appropriate.
• Provide administrative support to produce RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and other sales related documents. • Identify sales leads and escalate them to external sales staff.
• Maintain client databases via CRM & ERP systems.

Qualifications & Experience
Sales experience is preferred, relevant tertiary / trade qualifications are desirable along with suitable industry experience and application knowledge, within the Industrial market.
