About the Role

We are looking for a resourceful and technically strong

Data Analyst - Assistant Manager

to join a dynamic team driving enterprise analytics initiatives within a key public sector agency. This role sits at the intersection of data, business, and technology--delivering end-to-end analytics solutions and championing data adoption across the organization.


You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to co-develop dashboards, reports, and machine learning-enabled solutions that deliver real business impact.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with business users to design and deliver full-cycle analytics solutions, from requirements gathering and data pipeline design to dashboard/report development and deployment. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using

Power BI

, integrating data from

SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, SAP Analytics Cloud

, and other enterprise platforms. Use

cloud-native tools

like

Azure Data Factory

,

Databricks

, and

Snowflake

to build scalable data solutions. Work with technology, data engineering, and policy teams to enhance the enterprise analytics platform and develop reusable analytics tools and assets. Monitor and optimize the performance of deployed data products and dashboards. Support ongoing maintenance of the data infrastructure and provide analytics operational support. Contribute actively to the

Analytics Centre of Excellence (COE)

by sharing knowledge, promoting best practices, and advancing analytics maturity across the organization. Design and deliver training workshops to strengthen data capabilities internally. Support other data-related projects and initiatives as required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science

,

Information Systems

,

Business Analytics

,

Data Science

,

AI

, or related technical field. At least 3 years of experience developing advanced analytics or data science solutions. Proficient in

Microsoft Power BI

(including UI/UX, DAX, Power Query). Hands-on experience in

Python

and associated

machine learning libraries

. Familiar with enterprise data and analytics ecosystems and tools (e.g.,

Azure

,

SAP

,

Snowflake

,

Databricks

). Strong collaboration skills with ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions. Experience in

finance and budgeting processes

is a plus. Experience with

Azure cloud services

is an advantage.
