MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible in building & operating successful smart factory data warehousing, structuring IT/ IOT data architecture & governance.
• Translating business requirements into technical specifications [including Data Streams, Integrations, Transformations, Databases, Data Warehouses and Big Data (defining Data Architecture Frameworks, Standards, and Principles) including Modeling, Metadata, & security]
• Defining reference architecture (that others can follow to create/ enhance data systems)
• Designing and implementing effective database solutions & models (to store & retrieve company data)
• Examining & identifying data structural necessities (by evaluating applications/ programming)
• Assessing data implementation procedures (to ensure of their compliance with regulations)
• Preparing accurate database design & architecture reports (for management/ executive teams)
• Implementing and guiding best approaches for the implementation of CDC, HA, Backup Recovery, and Audit Policies
• Recommending solutions to improve (new & existing) database systems
• Collaborating with other departments, stakeholders/ partners, external vendors, as and when necessary to
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Required to have minimum 5 - 6 years of Data Architecture experience (preferably in manufacturing domain, but not limited to) with the expertise in:

• Development Skills (e.g.: Java, C, C++, C#),
• Databases (e.g.: Big Data, RDBMS), &
• Data Modeling & Designing.
• Knowledgeable in Columnar & NoSQL Big Data, Predictive Analytics, Data Visualization & Unstructured Data
• Familiar with full system development life cycle, project management methodologies, design & test techniques
