Job Description

General/Overall Job Purpose: The Demand Planner will ensure that the company's product requirement arrive at the right quantities at the right time through forecasting and collaboration with all stakeholders. To include that the company plans effectively for any upcoming changes in trends or demands by maintain forecasting models and incorporating information gathered from sales, marketing, merchandising, suppliers and other sources.Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with Mktg,BD, Merch & Sales/Ops and Suppliers to define the true demand (historical Offtake & Initiatives)

• Translate forecast assumptions to numbers
• Finalize Demand forecasts internally and forward order forecasts to Suppliers
• Initiate Supply review to targeted Suppliers
• Recommends stock issue action plans in coordination with Suppliers
• Drives approved action plans and reviews/improves KPI metrics.
• Sales and Operations Planning coordination with the ffg:
• Sales Operations & BD for the plan in New stores to Open
• Merchandising for new Items/skus and allocation
• Marketing for changes in demand due to initiatives
• Capacity planner for the projected DC/Store Order Volumes
• Suppliers for stock confirmation/allocation

• Review and recommend Supplier with balance to hit for Investment buys
• Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field.
• Minimum 3-year experience in a demand planning and forecasting role.
• Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts and continuous improvement efforts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities within deadline and prioritize effectively, while delivering high quality work.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of Sales and Operations Planning and the critical cost and efficiency drivers supply chain operations
• Candidate must be willing to report on site 3x per week
