Job Responsibilities:
Assist the Chef de Partie in executing recipes accurately, handling tasks like measuring, mixing, and preparing ingredients.
Perform basic production tasks, such as shaping dough, preparing fillings, and assembling products according to standards.
Follow instructions from senior chefs, working carefully to maintain consistency in product quality and appearance.
Support quality control by checking products in your section for adherence to recipe standards before moving them forward.
Report ingredient usage and shortages to the Chef de Partie, helping to manage stock efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all sanitation and hygiene standards.
Assist in minimizing waste by accurately following portioning guidelines and handling ingredients carefully.
Learn from senior chefs by observing and practicing skills, enhancing your knowledge and efficiency in production techniques.
Continuously seek to improve your skill set by learning new techniques and staying informed on industry trends as directed by the Chef de Partie.
Job Requirements:
Candidate with minimum 2 years of experience with similar role in bakery manufacturing environment.
Candidate with Certification in Baking and Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts or equivalent.
Candidate with Food Safety Level 1.
Basic knowledge of baking techniques, including measuring, mixing, and proofing.
Familiarity with bakery tools and equipment.
Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain a clean workspace.
