• Review all designs for compliance with the latest procedures and standards.
• Manages responsibility for the department's operational systems, processes, and policies.
• Improving department business functions, mentoring section heads, and developing section team goals.
• Lead a team of designers to deliver work as specified in the Porject/s
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the department with 50 members
• Providing technical direction and problem-solving skills to teams.
• In order to develop new ideas, improvements, and integrations, you should engage with the global functional managers.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Mechanical Engineer
• At least fifteen (15)years of experience, including both hands-on and leading the piping design and stress analysis efforts in the design of steam and power generation plants.
• At least 8 years of leadership experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS
• Knowledgeable of AVEVA E3D or other industry tools
• Experience in ASME and JIS standards would be an asset.
