What the role is:As a Deputy Director / Senior Assistant Director, Engagement in the Corporate Communications Division, you will lead a team in conceptualising, implementing and reviewing MCCY\'s engagement efforts with various stakeholders to build care, cohesion and confidence, strengthen partnerships with our various stakeholders and support MCCY divisions and agencies in their partnership and engagement efforts.What you will be working on:Your key responsibilities include leading a team of officers to work closely with MCCY HQ Divisions and Statutory Boards to: \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop the MCCY family stakeholder map and the approach for identification, cultivation, profiling and appreciation of stakeholders and partners \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop strategic stakeholder and engagement strategies to increase awareness and understanding of MCCY policies and programmes among stakeholders; \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop sensing mechanism to gather and understand sentiments of stakeholders and partners towards MCCY policies and programmes \xe2\x80\xa2 Identify and strengthen strategic partnerships and collaborate with external partners to expand MCCY\'s stakeholders map; \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate and organise engagement/networking sessions by MCCY senior management with key stakeholders \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan, organise and implement partner appreciation eventsWhat we are looking for:

• At least 8 years of experience in partnership and engagement and/or strategic comms and engagement \xe2\x80\xa2 Passion for developing opportunities to create value in partnerships and engagement of stakeholders \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent analytical and critical thinking capabilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent leadership skills with a passion for developing people and building a strong team \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work well within and across teams \xe2\x80\xa2 High level of initiative and willingness to learn \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes well
