[What the role is]

You will lead a team in the accounting, operations, and controls of the expenditure function in CAAS.

[What you will be working on]

This includes payment processing, fixed assets management (e.g. capitalization, stock taking and reporting), providing sound advice on policies and systems to users on expenditure and fixed assets functions. You will also support the month-end book closing, reconciliation and audit, as well as monthly monitoring with analytics for fixed assets and expenditure. You will ensure compliance with financial and accounting policies and procedures, and value-add by reviewing processes and procedures, as well as system enhancements where required, to improve efficiency and governance. You would be involved with digitalization and other ad-hoc projects or administrative duties where required.

You will also review and implement policies and frameworks on governance and financial compliance for CAAS.

[What we are looking for]

We require a resourceful, energetic, results-oriented team player with the following pre-requisites:

• Chartered Accountant/ tertiary qualification in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification
• Fresh graduates or school leavers are welcomed
• Possess strong thinking and analysis skills, self-motivated and resourceful
• Strong communication and task management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office e.g. Excel, Word etc.
• Experience in Workday is advantageous

Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance, and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
