DESIGNATION : Digital Monetization Strategy Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Monetization Strategy Specialist within FairPrice Digital Business, you will help monetize 3P sellers through advertising so that they can meet their marketing objectives, drive revenue growth, and foster product improvements. You will work closely with suppliers and marketplace sellers, as well as our Ad Tech partner and be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, managing budgets and bids, optimizing account configurations and targeting, and reporting/insights. You will also actively support seller training and training materials preparation. You will monitor and follow up on the campaign performance by analyzing account performance to identify, recommend and implement optimization solutions to meet their goals and expectations. You will also be required to develop insights to create growth opportunities for potential advertisers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the media/retail media industry and a background in the paid search landscape. This is an analytical and revenue focused role across banner and product ads across different placements on our omni app and web.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Drive Strategy, Road Map and Ensure Delivery of KPIs

  • Define all monetization placements in web and app and identify new opportunities
  • Work closely with tech & design on monetization roadmap in web/app
  • Advice media solutions team/ suppliers / sellers on their sponsored ad strategy to ensure optimization of their advertisement investments
  • Lead and provide strategic direction for the team
  • Increase sponsored ad saturation by driving sponsored placement sales within the omni app and web space including O2O (Offline to Online)
  • Reach and exceed KPIs established in partnership with suppliers and marketplace sellers to drive revenue and reduce churn
  • Present performance results in a clear, easy-to-understand manner.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities for supplier and marketplace sellers investments and propose solutions to improve ROI
Execution
  • Plan, manage, and execute campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management while ensuring that recommendations and decisions are consistent with client objectives.
  • Help suppliers and marketplace sellers reach their performance goals quickly and stay active/healthy
  • Monitor performance of campaigns and drive activities to improve performance for optimal ROI and suppliers and marketplace sellers’ satisfaction
  • Identify vertical / brand / category / campaign trends to provide analysis to support incremental asks from our suppliers and marketplace sellers to grow and stabilize investment


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Degree in Business or other equivalent/relevant fields
  • At least 3 years of work experience in the advertising industry with focus in paid search, retail search and/or eCommerce.
  • Experienced in developing media strategies based on data, insights, and analytics.
  • Can translate technical speak to client-friendly language.
  • Strong experience in Google Ads, Bing, Yahoo!, Amazon, Co-op Advertising and all paid search terminology and key tools (e.g., AdWords, AdCenter, Retail Search, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills that enable you to use data to develop, validate and measure search campaigns.
  • Experienced in developing or overseeing quantitative analysis and delivering actionable insights.
  • Ambitious, self-starter mentality and entrepreneurial spirit with a strong drive for excellence and delivery of results.
  • Has ability to work at all levels with an eye for detail to achieve quality & process goals, actively translates Walmart’s core values into everyday practices.
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills and able to build relationships and influence cross-functionally.
  • Understanding of customer experience, listening to customers' voice, and working backwards to improve business process and operations.
  • Proven leadership skills to be able to lead, influence and partner with teams across the organization to drive digital sales & monetisation for their respective products
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate information that influences data-driven business decisions.
  • Analytical ability to identify engagement opportunities and accurately capture benefits in comprehensive business case
  • Analytical, high level of numeracy, sound commercial acumen and strategic business sense
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, with proven leadership skills to motivate and lead a team
  • High level of drive, integrity and professionalism, and able to thrive under pressure
  • Resourceful & ability to think out of the box
