Job Description


Job Mission You will be responsible for developing the nation-wide educational business in Singapore. You will build long-term relationships with our portfolio of customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders, identify and develop new customers. You will liaise between customers, business partners and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful closure of opportunities, delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. Be the significant driver of ALE’s revenue and growth, lead and drive sales engagements in the assigned vertical. Responsibilities You’ll be responsible for meeting and exceeding your quota by crafting and implementing strategic vertical plans of your assigned vertical. You are to win business and market share by actively displacing competing technologies.

  • Engage a programmatic approach to demand, generate, develop, and expand your vertical

  • Develop new educational customers for ALE in Singapore
  • Identify and grow opportunities by farming only on a few existing customers and hunting for new logos in the given list of named accounts and in collaboration with channel team
  • Engage all cross-functional resources to achieve your quota: inside sales, channel, pre-sales, field marketing, services team, sales ops and others
  • Work with Pre-Sales Specialist to propose integrated solutions to address customer’s complex needs with ALE’s unique selling proposition. Demonstrate account selling strategies into a mix of install base and competitively held private companies
  • Account plan development
  • Generating pipelines that are more than the assigned quota to deliver a predictable book of business
  • Perform high-level sales planning, leading to accurate forecasting of the business
  • Detail and accurate pipeline management through SFDC during the entire sales lifecycle
  • Value propositions articulation to clients and stakeholders that resonate intimately to their needs and requirements
  • Become a trusted advisor with key customer’s stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect ALE’s products and services
Qualifications Must Have
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in sales business development or technical sales positions
  • History of exceeding your quota
  • Capability to lead all aspects of the sales cycle with the ability to uncover, qualifying, developing, and closing new logos accounts
o Proven track record in new accounts generation
  • Consultative selling competency, possess a successful track record selling complex-solutions directly to customers
  • Excellent time management skills, and work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction, with 'Positive and Can-Do' attitude and motivation to deliver above quota performance, technical enough to cover some accounts while your pre-sales is busy assisting others
  • Highly competitive, ramp quickly, extremely adaptive, and pride yourself on exceeding production goals, self-motivated, energetic and passionate nature
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • A1 Team Player
  • Understanding on how to win by using Channel partners as well, and are comfortable with a partner-centric go-to-market approach
Preferable
  • Previous experience in IT / Telco environment
  • Experience in working with Education accounts
  • Knowledge in Network and Communications solutions
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
