Job Purpose & Responsibilities Job Purpose DHL DSC Business Architect will address business, information, and technology-related initiatives. DHL DSC Business Architect sets the direction and establishes the approach for integrating information applications and programs. DHL DSC Business Architect catalogues develop, coordinates, communicates, maintains, and enforces the overall Business Architecture Principles, Models, and Standard Components used by the Business to perform all information system-related activities. Job Responsibilities Be the point of contact for the Business and Domain Application Management on any day-to-day inquiries or BAU changes Provide continuous communication and support on the capability roadmap and strategic plan for the capabilities assigned with business, operations and technology leads Act as liaison conveying information needs of the Business to CoE , Domains, IT and data constraints to the business Highly motivated and a self-starting individual used to work in fast moving environment with limited direct management oversight Knowledgeable and understanding of the process and data flows that originate data sets to ensure risk management Work directly with Country/Sector teams to understand business strategies and priorities in order to design optimal application solutions for prioritized business requirements Partner with enterprise architecture, infrastructure teams to ensure successful execution against target solution environments, including effective integration with other applications and business processes Manage the appropriate control frameworks to ensure optimal standardization and re-use across the organization The development, in conjunction with Global, of principles, standards and models that will guide the team in the delivery of the projects Supports the regional IPAA leaders in steering the regional IT architecture according to the global EA principles and guidelines Works with CoE and/or Product Owners within DHL DSC to define roadmaps for retirement, migration or replacement Contributes to the definition of enterprise collateral that support standardization of solutions within APAC and/or Global DHL DSC Business Provides guidance for decision making and applies expertise for the respective regional IT architecture. Development of requirements, and models for the future-state business architecture on programmes and projects Coach/mentor as necessary Drive New Revenues & Cost savings with GP improvement through enterprise solutions Set Enterprise Product Management targets with regional and country teams. Oversee country work plans for Products and Services within the Enterprise Agreement Frameworks . Work with Global Enterprise teams to deliver value to countries in product initiativesJob Requirements Minimum university degree, post graduate qualification preferred Degree in computer science or relevant field A minimum of 8 years' experience Business &/or Solution Architectural Role using leading methodologies and processes Previous experience in designing digital products using Cloud solutions could be an advantage TOGAF qualification would be an advantage Knowledge of financial modelling as it pertains to IT investment Logistics Business Acumen would be an advantage Knowledge or working capability of Lean IX (or other like Enterprise Tools) Good verbal and written communication skills Experience with methodologies of Agile (SCRUM) delivery methods Strong Business Case / Analytical skills (Use Case, Data Model, Process Model, etc) Software Design/Lifecycle including tools Systems Thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking) Interpersonal and leadership skills - collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills Emotional intelligence - confidence, ability to manage conflict, empathy Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand Knowledge of IT governance and operations Time management and prioritization Supply Chain Experience across APAC Regions Leading Regional &/or Global Programs on behalf of APAC Location: Flexible within APAC
