Job Description

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Business Development / Strategic Partnerships : Develop a Preferred Network of Strategic Alliances in the APEME Regions.
Secure data sources from demographically aligned partner databases such as:
Banks/Bankers' Associations
Credit Card Companies
Airlines
Hospitality Companies
Tactical Assistance / Special Projects : Serve as a thought leader for the RVP.
Deliver input on budgeting, P&L goals and objectives.
Identify ongoing concerns (weakness or threats to financial objectives).
Create solutions for resolving weaknesses and threats.
Identify strengths and opportunities to leverage for financial gain and/or the betterment of the customer experience, thus increasing long-term vision of the customer base and assuring the Company meets and exceeds financial objectives on a quarterly and annual basis.
Provide special projects assistance to SVP and RVP, as needed/upon request. Develop presentations upon request. Liaise and work closely in the overall development and implementation of tactical marketing initiatives in:
Call Centres
Corporate Marketing
Database Management and Security
CRM Solutions
Creative Services
Finance and Accounting
Legal
3) Other:
Coordinate with other functions across the AP Region and with marketing colleagues based in other parts of the region.
Maintain database of all key partner and MI as needed.
4) Individual Development:
Lead by example, maintaining high standards of professional leadership.
Participate in period Budget Variance Meetings (BUVAR) for each site and overall Region
Regularly update executive management with any relevant information and ongoing feedback on performance and other related issues concerning direct marketing programs.
Prepare period personal business review for RVP.
5) Key Performance Indicators:
Drive brand awareness and demand through alliance initiatives.
Align with call center leadership for coordinated campaign development.
Provide input for reduction of costs per production unit.
Liaise w with regional Call Center leader to monitor lead penetration goals.
Assist with strategies for call centers to achieve tour targets.
Focus on strategies for high value VPG feeder market development.
Represent operations, legal, HR and M&S teams in all aspects of digital transformation initiatives to meet and exceed their operational goals.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
10 years of proven strategic alliance development and negotiation skills.
MBA preferred
Excellent presentation development skills.
Active listener.
Problem solver.
Detail orientated.
Excellent follow-through skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in timeshare marketing and/or financial and/or sales.
Ability to work within tight deadlines and meet targets in a high-volume environment.
Ability to respond well to constant change.
Cultural sensitivity to regional differences in business development for the Region.
Understanding of how to manage business financials.
Must be comfortable in dealing with partners.
Potential to learn and effectively work with the key systems.
Ability to introduce, mentor and coach international associates into the Marriott culture.
Expert proficiency in Excel and strategic planning; ability to develop detailed pro forms and complex analysis of program performance and technical campaign initiatives.
