Responsible for the general Food & Beverage (F&B) operations at Marina Bay Sands, excluding the Casino and Meeting Incentives Convention Exhibition center
Reports to the Executive Director Luxury, Food & Beverage - Non gaming - at Marina Bay Sands
Direct reports include an Associate Director and a team of Outlet Managers
Works closely with the Executive Chef on monitoring and improving food quality and develop new concepts
Works closely with internal departments to meet customer demands and respond to feedback
Works closely with the F&B team on developing new ideas and new concepts to meet the changing demands of guests, including CapEx and maintenance projects
Works closely with the Service Quality team to monitor overall service level and survey scores to provide guidance to the outlets
Works closely with HR to continuously recruit local and foreign talent for all levels of the team
Works closely with Legal and Compliance team to ensure departments comply with all regulatory requirements
Provides leadership and hands-on coaching to the F&B management team
Stays in tune with the concerns of line team members and builds an open and collaborative team culture
Develops annual budget and strategic plan, closely monitors the Profit & Loss statements and provides guidance on necessary changes
Approves and monitors all expenses in the outlets
Job Requirements
5-10 years\' experience as the Director of F&B in an integrated resort, restaurant group, private club or luxury hotel chain.
Possesses a comprehensive set of F&B service and operations skills and a focus on VIP customer service in Asia. Should have worked in a 5 Star hospitality and /or restaurant environment
Fluent in English and/or Mandarin
Flexible with demanding work schedule, shifts and working on most Public Holidays
Comfortable dealing with VIP guest challenges and maintain composure under pressure
Enjoys problem solving and can think outside-the-box in difficult situations
Team oriented approach to management with a mindset of open communications
Capable of building and managing relationships with multiple departments as well as key customers
Administration knowledge of large F&B Operations and Quality Management
Be proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Have a well-groomed and professional appearance
