To plan, organise, direct, coordinate and evaluate all HR services so as to support various departments objectives.
Manpower planning and review of recruitment strategies for different categories of staff in conjunction with user departments.
To put in place a staff development and succession planning system.
Develop an effective organisational structure, establishing clear lines of authority and responsibilities, and defining duties to assure and facilitate achievement of hospital objectives through developing and supervising of job analysis, preparation and review of job descriptions
Develop and supervise surveys relating to turnover, wages, benefits, etc, to keep abreast of the industry/market and ensure competitiveness and equity.
To monitor employee morale through various employee relation programmes and make recommendation for remedial action if needed.
To put in place a performance management system to enable the hospital to achieve its mission.
As a strategic member of the management team for HR issues.
To lead the institute’s Learning & Development (L&D) function.
To supervise and schedule work of HRM / L&D Specialists and Assistants to ensure effective performance.
To keep abreast of the latest developments in the area of human resource.
To perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Bachelor degree or equivalent with a Post graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management with more than 10 years of working experience in human resource functions
Minimum 5 years of senior management position experience
Healthcare background would be an advantage
Forward looking, positive-minded, results oriented and energetic individual who is meticulous and able to work in a complex environment
Strong leadership, planning, organizing and implementation skills
Possess the drive and strength to carry out the implementation of policies and plan
Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
