Job Description

The Director of NHG Cares Institute (NCI) will be responsible for the success of NCI in building a network for the transformation and development of the future community health workforce in Central and North Singapore and beyond, in support of NHG's The Director of NHG Cares Institute (NCI) will be responsible for the success of NCI in building a network for the transformation and development of the future community health workforce in Central and North Singapore and beyond, in support of NHG's Population Health plans with our partners. This workforce includes our Family Doctors, Community Nurses, Community Allied Health Professionals, Health Coaches, Coordinators, Caregivers, Volunteers and Residents themselves. Specifically, the Director is to: Build and animate a network of stakeholders for to collaborate to develop and enable new workforce models and optimise for sustainability Establish and enable the training and development ecosystem for this future community health workforce that integrates a digital-first learning institute for professional training and resident activation, and the offer of in-person programmes through a network of NHG training centres and partner training institutes. She/He will be responsible for the conceptualisation, implementation, evaluation and improvement of the strategies and operations of NCI. She/He will work closely and develop strong relationships with, and between, internal NHG stakeholders and external stakeholders relevant to community health workforce development. The desired outcome is an active and sustained network of stakeholders and development ecosystem that collaborate closely to continuously support the transformation and growth of the community health workforce for current and future needs. Job Requirements (a)Education/Training/Experience Good bachelor's degree in any discipline. Preferably with 10 years of relevant working experience in areas related to workforce development and/or Learning and Development (L&D). Experience in facilitating large systems change and transformation. Ability to function effectively as a change agent and lead change. Must possess strong administrative, budget management and project coordination skills. Strong written, analytical and communication skills. Proficient in various computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint (b) Personal Attributes Independent, dynamic, self-motivated and result-oriented Excellent communication and coordination skills Excellent analytical skills and eye for details
