The Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead and facilitate institutional client participation in India IPOs, leveraging robust research capabilities and corporate analyst skills to deliver unparalleled value
  • Develop and execute comprehensive institutional sales strategies aimed at expanding market share and achieving ambitious revenue targets
  • Foster and nurture enduring relationships with institutional clients, comprehensively understanding their unique investment objectives
  • Direct a team of seasoned institutional sales professionals, offering strategic guidance, fostering mentorship, and overseeing performance management initiatives
  • Remain vigilant of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory shifts, utilizing insights to drive informed strategic decision-making processes
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal stakeholders, including research teams, product development, and marketing, to continuously refine and augment product offerings and enhance overall client satisfaction
  • Act as a prominent ambassador for the firm at key industry events, conferences, and client gatherings, fortifying brand visibility and advancing thought leadership initiatives
The Requirements:
  • Involvement in India IPOs and familiarity with the IPO process
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in institutional sales, preferably at the director level
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships
  • Strong research skills and corporate analyst capabilities to understand complex market dynamics
  • Experience in the Indian brokerage firm sector, with a deep understanding of the India market institutional sales landscape
  • Transferable client base and network within the institutional investor community
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead a high-performing sales team
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
