Lead and drive central strategies and systems / operational functions to enable philanthropy, fundraising and engagement initiatives of the Group.
Drive transformation, strategy, innovation in system development and digitalisation initiatives, working closely with relevant departments (such as IT, research, finance in NCSS) to enable robust donor management, recognition and stewardship.
Develop strategies and oversee the implementation of initiatives to drive sustainable long-term growth opportunities for philanthropy, fundraising and engagement under Community Chest / NCSS.
Lead and direct special projects and strategic philanthropic product offerings such as Change For Charity, Community Capability Trust, new and innovation funding instruments.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
Lead and oversee centralised functions of the Group including business transformation, strategy, innovation, digitalisation, data management, workplans and budgets.
Lead donor management operations, systems and usage of database for analysis of donations performance and trends.
Formulate research and insights-based strategies to enhance philanthropy, fundraising and engagement functions of the Group (including Community Chest, President’s Challenge, and ad hoc initiatives).
Establish a strong and robust framework / process / system to assess business potential, via a data-driven and innovative approach to strengthen philanthropy, fund-raising and engagement, including analysing and evaluating market context and development, and donation data for application in sustaining growth of Community Chest and philanthropy practices.
Develop and spearhead central strategies and system enablers to grow the SHARE programme and donors; as well as product development and innovative product offering to create sustainable long-term value for Community Chest, in collaboration with teams across the Group / NCSS, and internal / external stakeholders to strengthen donor engagement, acquisition and retention.
Oversee and lead the secretariat function of Community Chest Committee to nurture and engage commmitee members and donor connectors; and oversee the organisation of the annual Community Chest Awards and regular touch points for positive donor experiences.
Set directions, team structure and KPIs for direct reporting team(s) to align with the priorities and goals of the Group.
Manage, measure and be accountable for the annual KPIs set by Group / NCSS.
Facilitate annual plans with direct reports (Deputy Director, HODs, Special Project etc) to achieve NCSS’s and the Group’s goals and targets.
Provide guidance for direct reporting teams’ operational challenges and solutions (including, but not limited to, marketing, finance, data, compliance, governance, communication).
Provide guidance for direct reporting teams’ human resource challenges and solutions (including recruitment, retention, development and talent management etc.).
Ensure compliance of integrity in matters of people, processes, procurement and relationships (vendors / suppliers / partners etc).
Any other duties as assigned by Group Director that are aligned to NCSS and the Group’s purposes.
