We are seeking a Director for platform Sales, who will be part of Group Enterprise Platforms product house team. The successful candidate is one who has deep understanding of the market needs on 5G and edge computing platforms and knows how to create competitive sales proposals to customers by understanding their market needs, buying potential and long term transformation plans. In this position you will work with the different development, business and product teams, to:

  • Create global account strategy by customer segments (small, medium and large customers) and define tactial sales plan by segment and by region (APAC, US & Canada, Europe and Middle East)
  • Create competitive business case that covers all grounds on total cost of ownership for customer and create attrative sales proposals that provide customers a positive returns on investment and forecast the breakeven period for customers.
  • Track sales funnels on a weekly and monthly basis and prepare sales reports for senior management.
  • Qualify every sales lead based on probability of closure and provide management a best case, worst case and average case forecast per quarter for sales closure.
  • Follow through revenue recognition and ensure timely billing to customer for delivered scope of work and ensure revenue is recognized in the right finance books.
The ideal candidate should possess:
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Minimum 10 years experience as a sales director.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to direct the Sales team in generating proposals that define a clear path to client satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Ability to monitor changes in the industry and leverage them for business opportunities.
  • Ability to promote positive relationships with major customers to understand their needs
  • Ability to recommend changes in pricing structures in product lines or products
  • Ability to review sales performance by analysing performance reports.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time including weekend and overnights.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
