Within People Team, the People Services & Rewards function comprises our front-line employee services, core people systems and processes. The core teams within are Strategic Business Partnerships, Talent Acquisition, Workplace, People Operations & Systems, People Rewards. As the Director, Strategic Business Partnership, you will take charge of a portfolio of business lines and manage key HR processes in close partnership with business leaders and managers. You will also engage and advise business leaders, to drive the development of people matters which include organisational restructuring, workforce planning, talent deployment, transformation and change management efforts. Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Strategic Business Partnership, the successful applicant will: Establish trusted relationships with executive leaders by truly understanding the business and aligning human resources programs to achieve business objectives. Drive the talent agenda and to create an engaging and enabling environment that attracts, retains and energizes talent. Facilitate regular dialogues on talent matters which include HR cycles such as performance management, potential assessment and provide insights into matters concerning team engagement. Partner leaders to design and implement the appropriate strategy and initiatives to ensure the business has the right talent and organizational design to deliver the business strategy for long-term, sustainable growth. Partner, collaborate and co-design with the HR Centers of Excellence, HR Operations as well as other HR business partners to develop and execute programs/policies to achieve desired objectives that are aligned to business and People Team's strategies. Identify and articulate diverse and sometimes conflicting business requirements and challenges, and translate them into executable HR initiatives Coach and direct a small team of Strategic Business partners to meet the work deliverables from conceptualisation to execution. Requirements A good Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Minimum 15 years of related HR experience, including multiple years of people management experience and strong experience in transforming organisations in the areas of job re-design, organisation structure and new skills. Strong business acumen with a demonstrated understanding of business strategy across all functions in the organisation. Ability to build deep and influential business partnerships throughout the organisation by demonstrating an understanding of business fundamentals and decision-making processes. Embrace change and recognise challenges as business opportunities, with a good track record in championing change. Good knowledge of the full spectrum of HR functions with strong analytical capacity using metrics/data to influence and advise. Strong verbal and written communications as well as facilitation skills. Mature and proactive team-player who can manage and engage different stakeholders, including senior enterprise leaders Highly agile and adaptable to respond and perform in a fast-paced environment that is constantly evolving
