Our company focuses on PUB Tuas Water Reclamation Plant. We are seeking a Document Controller to maintain records and oversee document control for regulatory and legal compliance. The job is primarily clerical. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, capable of working well both independently and in teams. The Document Controller should be detail-oriented and comfortable communicating all issues clearly to the supervisor. Preference will be given to those with relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Copy, scan and store documents
Manage the flow of documentation within the organization and Main-con/client
Coordinates with Managers, Engineers and Superintendents on documentation control
Ensure proper document classification, sorting, filing and proper archiving
Performs document quality check in accordance to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s document control procedures.
Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
Manage quality documentation functions in a ISO certified environment.
Knowledge in the use of web-based tools, MS Outlook, WORD, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ensure all reports and correspondence are completed on time
Ensure all documents are transmitted as quickly and accurately as possible, in particular drawings andprocurement/vendor information
Perform data entry tasks when project documents need updates.
Submission of documents (Drawings/Reports/Material/Inspections)
Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as needed
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.
Project Admin
Provide full admin support to the Project team
Monitor the attendance of all personnel at project site
Assist in ordering of materials as needed at project site
Act as the liaison person between HQ and project site
Perform other duties as and when needed
Setting up and administer documentation and submission to Main-Con/Client.
Receives and register all provided and in-house generated documents
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role
Familiarity with project management
Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel & Power Point
Knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
Proficient typing and editing skills, Data organization skills
Experience working with many file types
Basic understanding of construction documents
At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Able to work independently and is a great team player,
Able to work well under stress and love challenges, with good working attitude and a positive outlook
Working days: 5 days
