Analyze previous docking costs and invoices to identify cost optimization opportunities
Carry out detailed comparison of shipyard quotation and provide recommendations on dry-dock options, basis costs/availability
Comprehensive understanding of cost drivers and key commercial challenges
Other budget related activities as delegated by the Head of department
Liaise closely with relevant stakeholders on all aspects of dry dock planning and management and keep Technical Operations closely advised of any developments
Any other ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
Diploma and above in Maritime Studies or in a relevant discipline
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a ship management company or shipyard and willing to travel
Good foundation in various class, flag and other regulatory/statutory requirements
Added advantage of being a project lead, carrying out at least 5 dry docking
Added advantage of project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or PMP certification
