The Content team is part of the Communications and Marketing organization and is responsible for all social & content activity for Grab's new content efforts in Singapore. Get to know the role: This role is all about ensuring that our editorial coverage and social media creates a business impact for Grab. You'll be part of the team that holds oversight and ownership of the content published on the brand's editorial site, as well as its social media accounts. You'll be an integral part of growing the business and shaping people's perceptions of it. You should be an expert in storytelling on social media-ready to scale Grab's social engagement to match our rapidly growing Southeast Asian brand.This role will focus on supporting the company's new editorial division. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communications and editorial skills, and be hungry to understand every part of what makes Grab tick. The day-to-day activities: Work within the brand journalism team to research, pitch, and plan stories to be told across articles and social media formats. Independently craft stories meant for a social media audience. Produce and adapt longform articles to bite-d pieces for multiple formats. Interview stakeholders to produce neutral, balanced stories. Work with the Head of Content to produce a rich editorial calendar. Manage influencer partnerships and brand alliances. Lead the local measurement & reporting of social activity The must-haves: At least 5 years of experience working in a newsroom. Editorial skills, journalism background preferred. Creative skills a plus. Ability to understand and articulate technology stories. Supreme collaboration, communication, and organisational skills to manage cross-functional stakeholders. Ability and curiosity to use research and data to inform and bolster business decisions (experience with social analytics and social listening tools a must). Exceptional writing abilities and creative confidence to elevate content being published across channels. Passion for developing intrinsically social content, and an understanding of tone of voice on different platforms. Knowledgeable & willing to learn about social media amplification and distribution, including organic and paid strategies, and native distribution. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
