Roles & Responsibilities Ember is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to join our team of engineers to develop innovative products. Forge and maintain a close working relationship with team members company-wide to incorporate new technologies and create exciting products. Work with first prototype units through to production units performing a variety of tests. Responsibilities:

• Contribute to test plans for complete validation of electronic systems
• Contribute to the development of production testing plans
• Use of variety of electronics lab equipment to test early prototypes through production units
• Ability to read system diagrams, schematics, PCB files, and mechanics documents to design specific test cases
• Able to rework PCBAs with modifications or to facilitate testing
• Familiar with low-cost microcontrollers, microprocessors and the processes of updating firmware as needed to support electronics testing and validations
• Ability to log data and create reports
• Perform other job-related tasks as required.

• Higher-level education degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• Previous experience testing electronic circuits and systems
• Familiar with typical electrical test equipment
• Knowledge of C, python, labview and/or other applicable programming languages
• Schematic capture and PCB layout experience desired
