Meta Enterprise Engineers build industry leading, highly intuitive software that underpin business functions across Supply Chain, Finance, Compliance, Sales, Marketing, E-commerce and Security. Our products consistently influence the enterprise software industry by defining new standards for how our customers, internally and externally, relate to their daily work. We are looking for Enterprise Engineers who share a passion for tackling complexity, coaching and mentoring others, while defining the strategy and vision that guide the team to develop complex transactional systems with high availability, data integrity, and reliability. The vision for our teams is to provide a platform that other Meta teams can leverage and build on top of to enable their integration use cases with Meta\'s Partners.Enterprise Engineer ResponsibilitiesOwn product architecture and collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to set the technical direction and create software that optimizes for business metricsCommunicate technology and product strategy effectively to both internal and external stakeholders and leadershipBuild industry leading enterprise systems that are highly available, intuitive, scalable, and secureProduce highly reliable and performant code with appropriate monitoring and alertingConduct design and code reviews to ensure scalability, performance and alignment with standards and best practicesAnalyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resourcesFollow release management policies to ensure data integrity, compliance and system stabilityMinimum QualificationsExperience in understanding code bases, including API techniquesBS in Computer Science or equivalent experienceSQL experience in handling volumes of data, performance tuning7+ years experience building intuitive systems in Java, PHP, C++, Python or Javascript5+ years of experience with product design/systems designPreferred Qualifications5+ years experience working with code bases building micro services, REST APIs, GraphQLFamiliarity with JS technologies such as ReactJS, VueJS or AngularJSExperience modeling data flows between systems to enable transactional workflows and upstream/downstream integrationsExperience building secure software with auditable access controls and permissionsLocationsAbout MetaMeta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
