EVENT MARKETING MANAGER
HYBRID / SINGAPORE (1 - 2 days/week in the office)

Our data and benchmarking tools are used by many of the world\xe2\x80\x99s most prestigious universities to help them achieve their strategic goals and our events series act as the home of higher education thought leadership around the world.We are looking for an Event Marketing Manager based in our Singapore office, and working closely with our UK based team, responsible for delivering the marketing for our APAC based events.The right candidate will demonstrate an unbridled passion for marketing and creativity as well as the ability to write strong and engaging copy. Someone who is able to work under pressure, is focused on delivering great results, makes things happen with ease and is able to multi task with their eyes closed.You will support the commercial events marketing strategy as well as take the lead on delivering the strategy and tactical execution of campaigns for the broad portfolio of B2B events.You should be a confident individual able to work and communicate with senior stakeholders both internal and external, and partners as this will be a core part of your role.Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinating; managing; and monitoring of marketing activities to drive attendee growth and lead generation for commercially led events ensuring deadlines, and targets are met, to deliver success for our commercial partners and sponsors
  • Identify target audiences and create individual marketing plans, ensuring messaging is benefit led and speaks to the key audiences
  • Maintain detailed event project plans, conduct regular checkpoints with deliverable owners, escalate risks and challenges appropriately, and ensure event is executed on time and on budget.
  • Have creative oversight on event branding and create marketing assets on Canva.
  • Work with the sales team to generate and track qualified leads
  • Work closely with the wider events departments for market insights to enhance campaigns
  • Liaise with key associations/partners and organisations to maximise visibility
  • Copywriting, proofreading of marketing collateral, liaising with designers and sub-editors
  • Create engaging email marketing campaigns using the Acoustic email system including copywriting, design, testing and deployment through to reporting
  • Generate post-event reports and insights to inform future campaigns
  • On-site at events, to manage registration enquiries through to coordination of photography and videography
  • Supporting the wider events marketing team when needed
Experience and Skills Required
  • Demonstrable event marketing experience
  • Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and doing things differently
  • Confident and talented self-starter who is able to hit the ground running
  • Commercially astute and entrepreneurial outlook
  • Strategically minded and uses statistics to inform campaigns
  • Ability to work to agreed deadlines, working well under pressure
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills in order to manage and prioritise workload
  • Excellent verbal and English written communication skills, including spelling, grammar and proofreading, with the ability to tailor style and approach to suit a variety of global audiences
  • Interested in international higher education
  • Desired but not required \xe2\x80\x93 previous use on Canva, Acoustic and Salesforce
  • MS Office essential \xe2\x80\x93 Word, Excel and PowerPoint
