We are currently expanding our team and if you have an eye for aesthetics and design, a strong passion for flowers and LOVE events, we would love to have you onboard! The Events Associate role is a great entry level role into the wedding industry where you will be coordinating the execution and operations required for actual day weddings and/or celebrations including but not limited to proposals, anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers. Responsibilities : . Assist in start of month review of event line-up and operations for event preparations . Oversee styled shoots and actual day event executions . Liaise with event partners (florist, photographer, balloons, venue, etc) to coordinate for actual day setup . Assist in event setups and teardowns . Any other ad-hoc duties when required Basic Qualifications : . Possess at least a Diploma in Marketing/Business/Hospitality/Tourism or equivalent . Minimum of 1-3 years operations experience required, preferably in events/florals industry . Able to commit to wedding weekends with Mondays/Tuesdays off . Passion for creative work and event industry This is a part-time/ freelance position. Salary Range: $1,000-$1,500 negotiable Sales commission structure available as well.
