The Events Logistics Manager is responsible for organizing the Legal Media Group portfolio of events across Asia Pacific. The candidate is responsible for the coordination, operations and logistics of the events. This is an individual contributor role, however as this is a support function within a fast growing organization, this position could become a team lead in the future if the candidate is a strong performer and if the market conditions are right. About the Role As an Events Logistics Manager, you will:
  • Manage the production of assigned events from conception to completion. Events may include and is not limited to: single or multi-day conferences, gala dinner Awards and cocktail functions, small round tables (under 50 attendees), mid-size Summits (of more than 600 attendees with multiple desk top exhibitors), virtual events, and more.
  • Manage all non-content aspects of the event such as budgeting, logistics, production, vendor management, registration, timelines, set up and post-event follow up
  • Strong customer focus and coordination to support customers on event enquiries, trip planning, location advisory, pre and post event fulfilment and more.
  • Negotiate contracts and sourcing for venues, production vendors of printing, event material, AV equipment and more
  • Plan and oversee deadlines for all event production requirements
  • Be in charge of the onsite execution, coordinate with all related internal parties (content/ sales/ research, etc) and customers to deliver the events
  • Conduct pre-event inspections, rehearsals and post event evaluation including analysis and reports
  • Provide timely reports on progress, event status, and other information to manager
  • Cover virtual event logistics should the business requires it.
About You As an Events Logistics Manager, you should have:
  • Strong written and spoken English, 1 other Asian skill is advantageous given the regional coverage of our events and customers
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in B2B event logistics and operations
  • Demonstrable portfolio of strong event onsite management experience
  • The ability to work independently, multitask and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to travel for regional events (up to 10 times a year pre-COVID)
  • A familiarity of the various conference venues and hotels in Asia is advantageous
