We\xe2\x80\x99re on the lookout for an Events Manager who is armed with at least three years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a hotel or large Restaurant coordinating corporate and private events.

The successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of the day-to-day activities including event proposals and regular sales reports. He or she will be the single point of contact for all internal and external enquiries for our 2 fantastic venues at Marina Bay Sands and Boat Quay. All marketing will be done externally.

The Events Manager must exhibit a professional image at all times and maintain a high standard of grooming.

Basic hotel or restaurant operations and sales procedures is an advantage along with competent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.

5 days week at central office and reports directly to Managing Director.

Ensure creative event ideas and quality event execution for all events
Oversee all event bookings, event staff and event operations
Finalize event details and execute assigned events
Coordinate multiple events simultaneously including event planning, event logistics, event implementation, and event measurement within the event budget without supervision
Manage event logistics to ensure smooth event
Ensure content of events and event experience
Present overall event plans and posts event results to events team
Provide oversight to event staff for specific events
Building the event strategy and event goals to ensure event success
Creating a special events calendar
Set up meetings with events team and event hosts
Coordinating and managing all events, including sales and marketing events, as well as companywide events
Coordinate press events and messaging to effectively promote events
Attend internal or external customer meetings relating to events
Build and manage events budget
Evaluate divisional events and shows and book appropriate events
Ensure smooth performance of events, including director-hosted events
Supervise volunteers required for events
