What The Day Will Look LikeAs the Events Manager, your responsibilities include:

  • Manage the regional events strategy deployment, planning and hands on execution of a comprehensive regional portfolio (physical, virtual and hybrid) that reaches and engages priority audiences to align to business goals and deliver against buyer needs. With a specific focus on the Wealth Insight Series Asia (Singapore) and multiple Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Awards across the region
  • Provide insight into the best and the most impactful formats based on broader industry knowledge, and effectively challenge the conventional thinking in producing an event
  • Understand market context to inform the delivery of word class guest experience on time and on budget
  • Coordinate and collaborate closely with Growth Marketing, Insight Marketing, Enterprise Client Group & Innovation and Centres of Excellence to deliver global and regional event marketing plan, while balancing competing priorities and stakeholders
  • Provide insight into how each event contributes to the overall customer journey plan, highlighting key challenges to ensure exceptional experiences are delivered
  • Collaborate with key stakeholder to establish and measure KPIs for each event, ensuring each event has a clearly defined role and purpose and is contributing to growth
  • Lead the delivery consistent post event reporting, to ensure impact is tracked and understood, highlight any concerns or missed opportunities
  • Work closely with CRM teams to manage event attendee journey and measure impact
  • Develop and fulfil related pre- to post-participant and host communication materials (e.g. invitations, save-the-dates, registration announcements, onsite event materials, signages, etc.)
  • Find and recruit possible internal and external speakers of events
  • Contribute to the development and lead the regional deployment of consistent frameworks and toolkits to enable a more repeatable approach to events to ensure global consistency and best-in-class experiences
  • Attend selected events to lead the end-to-end event delivery to ensure a smooth, successful event
  • Leverage partnerships, suppliers, sponsors and venues effectively and efficiently through strong negotiation skills, to gain quality of service and maximum ROI, with professionalism and integrity
  • Excellent management and reconciliation of event budgets to ensure adherence to budget guidelines
Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
  • Event Management and/or Marketing hands-on experience in delivering live, virtual and hybrid event experiences, including managing event preparation remotely and significant experience in project managing large scale events
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done
  • Understand the customer decision making processes for B2B sales cycles and all marketing touchpoints (PR, Media, Digital, Communications, Social, etc.)
  • Excellent organisation skills, results driven, can combine strategic thinking with effective execution
  • Experience in structuring and managing virtual events, driving registration, earning and keeping attendee attention, and virtual event platforms i.e. ON24
  • Understanding of marketing automation concepts and software tools to capture contacts/leads and measure commercial impact of investments i.e. Eloqua
  • Excellent Microsoft Office - creating of PowerPoint decks, database management on excel sheets with the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • Excellent language skills to copywrite and edit simple communications such as events invitations and social media posts
  • Excellent project management
  • Inspired by digital marketing execution, embrace marketing automation concepts, and focused on delivering a compelling customer experience through relevant and connected customer experience
  • Strong leadership presence and stakeholder management experience, including experience working with multiple local and regional stakeholders
  • Experience in people management and/or managing vendors is required
  • Ability and experience working on a global team across multiple time zones
  • Flexibility to travel regionally
