By using massive amounts of new satellite data and pioneering work in artificial intelligence, Vortexa creates an unprecedented view on the global seaborne energy flows in real-time, bringing transparency and efficiency to the energy & shipping sectors, as well as driving decarbonisation efforts.

This role reports to the Community Manager, EMEA and dotted line into APAC MD and works with a thriving team that is building the largest community of Freight and Energy Market participants. Your primary functions will be:

• Managing the operations of our annual global events focusing on APAC region
• Working closely with APAC team to understand what events and community engagement is needed to generate pipeline and deliver the right ROI across energy and freight portfolio
• Set up and execute many forms of events: webinars, full day events and roundtables with customers, speaking slots and panels, analyst roadshows and briefings and many more.
• Work with the revenue operations team to report on event KPI\'s such as registrations, participants, engagement, and meetings held.
• Work cross functionally across the marketing team to ensure all content and creative assets drive registration and high engagement in events.
• Leads project planning and execution of events from start to finish and is familiar with project planning tools such as Jira
• Manages an events annual budget for APAC

• Experience as an Events Manager or similar 3-5 years
• Experience managing projects from concept through to execution
• Be extremely organised
• Be a great communicator
• Be fluent in English both verbal and written
• Fluent a Mandarin a great to have
• Self starter
• Want to work with a creative team
• Comfortable with technology
• Familiar with Marketo, Salesforce, Google suite, Zoom
