Roles and Responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Support the Manager in the planning and executing of all aspects of an event;
- Event administration (registration, confirmation, speaker management)
- Book and negotiate venues
- Liaise with vendors and stakeholders where required
- Take on any other responsibility as assigned
- Candidates with customer service experience will be advantageous
- PC literate in Microsoft Office
- Able to apply basic negotiation skills and techniques
- Team Player with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and closely with internal and external parties
- 5-day work week with attractive salary to commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience
- Diploma in Business, Event Management or Communications
- At least 1 year of experience in service or hospitality industry an advantage
- Positive, energetic and able to work under pressure
