Job Description

The Education Department of Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine is offering a part-time position at our NTU Campus. This position reports to the Senior Assistant Manager of Anatomy and Science Laboratory and requires a dynamic individual who will provide support to ensure the classes are set up timely and accurately, all equipment is working properly, and materials are ready for classes. Additionally, support in office administration entails managing inventory, tracking purchases, invoices, and payment schedules as well as ensuring timely purchases of materials.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Preparation and setting up of science practical materials and equipment
• 
  Maintaining a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in the science practical laboratory
• 
  Assist in maintenance and calibration of science practical equipment
• 
  Monitoring attendance and contact helpers and simulated patients attendance for ultrasound and electrocardiography lessons
• 
  Tracking purchases, invoices, and payments
• 
  Conduct a stock take and update the inventory of materials
• 
  Ensure that equipment assets are labelled and assist in the annual verification of equipment assets

Requirements:

• 
  Diploma or higher in Science or equivalent
• 
  Competent in Microsoft office
• 
  Excellent time management skills
• 
  Relevant experience working with / in school science laboratory is a plus
• 
  Open to travelling between NTU and our Novena campus, and at times work beyond stated hours and helping in school events

This is a 3 years contract part-time (0.5 FTE) position.
