Working in a team to:
- Champion industry and market issues affecting the following Industry Groups in these manufacturing sectors:
o Food & Beverage
o MedTech
o Lifestyle
o Life Science
o Packaging
- Guide and support the respective committees of SMF’s Industry Groups above and other related stakeholders as directed by your supervisor;
- Assist with coordination, preparation and follow up of SMF Function Committee meetings and activities
- Providing support through coordination, preparation and follow up of SMF Interest Group Committee meetings and activities
- Assist with accurate recordings and finalize minutes of meetings in a timely manner
- Establish and work on collaborative projects and initiatives with government state boards, agencies and other NGOs
- Organize industry-related programs and activities both locally and overseas;
- Organize events, seminars, talks and meetings amongst business leaders to provide value-added services to the members.
- Assist in the planning, execution and follow up of events, workshops and activities for the Department
- Develop and implement programs to engage inactive Member
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma with relevant experiences in engineering, marketing or event co-ordination
- Resourceful with strong self-initiative, willingness to learn, able to work independently with excellent communications and organizing skills
- Good Team Player
