The role-holder should demonstrate strong leadership with business management and collaboration skills to ensure various teams deliver to product needs and drive commercial value. The role holder would have oversight of multi-disciplinary teams across product, technology and MI teams in COO team. The role holder will have to work with relevant teams and Global Head of Cash Fee Pricing and Analytics to deliver intelligence for various initiatives to hit revenue budgets. Strategy Drive innovation in advancing data usage and automation, as well as championing efforts in the adoption of best practices across Global, Regional and Country teams. Change assist the evolution of the business analytics and data science strategy for the function, incorporating clear alignment to the Product strategy. Adapt and adopt new ways of working with hybrid working models, challenging norms when required to drive process efficiency and cost saves. Business Improve business insights, productivity, and efficiency by driving the digital & business science agenda for the function to deliver cash fee budget Lead both the visualisation and data teams from multiple locations to ensure they are working in harmony and towards the same common goal. Lead and drive the building of large database models for Cash Fee Product to ensure future proofing data asks. Lead in the full development life cycle, end-to-end, from use case design, implementation and testing, delivery of data analytics projects. Understand reporting and intelligence requirements of various stakeholders and senior management and translate them into effective and efficient reports in production. Analyse source data systems and drive best practices in source teams Continuously work with technology teams towards improving data quality and address gaps. Implement data ingestion routines using best practices in data modelling, ETL/ELT processes Evaluate and make decisions around dataset implementations designed and proposed by peer data engineers. Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools. Improve team efficiency in BAU activities, through automation and working with GBS teams. Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders locally, regionally and globally. Partner with sales, product and LPM to drive business growth through use cases. Partner with Global Head of pricing to drive strategy on data analytics and use case generation. Represent TB Cash in meetings with various stakeholders to drive the outcomes needed to align on business needs. Sign off on gathered business and functional requirements and ensuring they are translated into requirements that are robust, scalable and operable solutions that work well within the data architecture of Cash Fee Product. Work collaboratively with other teams within and outside Cash Product to connect dots and integrate initiatives as needed. Maintain intellectual curiosity to understand advancements in technology and innovations which are happening across digital, analytics, robotics and artificial intelligence to influence various teams and outcomes. People and Talent Ensure the Cash Fee analytics team has appropriate capabilities and capacity to deliver priorities with potential to grow with needs of the Bank over time. Lead on the drive for up-tiering and up-skilling GBS and applicable countries to develop high performing teams for the future. Show leadership in defining and agreeing solutions to drive effectiveness and efficiency with cross team resources and motivate to perform to business needs. Experience in working on analytics solutions requiring a blend of quantitative, qualitative skills, and business knowledge of Cash product and TB sales. Proficient practitioner of data engineering, business intelligence and knowledge of data science models. Expertise in driving large or complex initiatives across countries, business groups and time zones. Strong written / oral communication and influencing skills. Knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, Dataiku, Python, Hadoop database, Teradata, Clustering models and regression models.
