Job Description


Responsibilities To support employees of who are expatriated to countries in Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Singapore on salary and welfare related matters.

  • Salary Difference Settlement (monthly):
    • To collect salary information every month from each seconded employee and settle the salary difference between regulated salary and seconded salary. To liaise with external party for settlement procedures from time to time.
  • Welfare Reimbursement (monthly):
    • To make reimbursement of benefits and welfare expenses such as education fee for children, medical expenses, housing costs, etc. by collecting and checking/reviewing the evidence (application forms and receipt).
  • Personal Income Tax Filing (annually/monthly):
    • To collect required data and documents from seconded employee and/or the PICs of HR department in the company that employee are seconded to, check/review data and documents, send them to Certified Public Accountant Office in each county, and liaise with them appropriately from time to time.
    • To issue a Certificate of Income and submit to the tax accountant company.
  • Adhoc HR Related Support:
    • Support procedure of moving from / returning to Japan including, but not limited to visa, housing, shipping service/air cargo service, insurance, allowance, claiming expenses, school, hospitals, and holidays
Requirements
  • High proficiency in Japanese and English (listening, speaking, and writing) to communicate effectively through phone calls, emails and/or meetings with expats, seconded employees and respective counterparts in Japan
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Forms, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Good communication skill to work together with the teammates and understand/respond to inquiries logically and politely
  • Preferably with work experiences in Expat Management or other HR related matter.
