About Human Resources & Organisation Development (HROD)
You will be part of a dynamic Human Resources & Organisation Development (HROD) division that formulates and implements people and digital initiatives to support business strategies and maximize the potential of our employees.
The Organisation Development (OD) team is responsible for driving the organisation\xe2\x80\x99s employee engagement, culture and transformation strategies. The Talent Attraction (TA) team is instrumental in driving branding, selection and sourcing strategies that position and promote EDB as an employer of choice, and plays an integral role in building a strong pipeline and securing capable talent that are critical to EDB\xe2\x80\x99s continued success.
This role supports both the Organisation Development and Talent Attraction teams within HROD. It is an excellent opportunity for you to enhance the employee engagement in EDB, take part in discussing employer branding strategies and to drive the implementation of the employer branding efforts.
[What you will be working on]
As a Executive Officer with the HROD team, your key responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:
Staff Events: Plan, organise and implement staff engagement events, including procurement of event-related services and management of vendors (e.g. venue, catering, AV tech), logistics, programme coordination, event communications and support.
Employee Engagement Initiatives: Plan, develop and administer employee engagement initiatives e.g. staff awards, corporate merchandise, teambuilding, engagement sessions. Perform day-to-day operations of these initiatives and continuous improvement based on data and feedback.
Internal Communications: Design and develop internal communications collaterals for events and employee engagement activities e.g. electronic direct mails (EDM), posters, newsletters and videos.
Employer Branding: Design collaterals for employee recruitment and campus outreach events. Create social media content and monitor the performance of these content. Create and optimise copy for content campaigns across all platforms, research and identify story ideas, including interviewing internal stakeholders for features. Take on photography responsibilities for events or interview features.
[What we are looking for]
The successful candidate should have/be:
Minimum Diploma qualification
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in event management, communications, organisation development, human resources or a related field. Experience in social media is preferred
Proficiency in MS Office, with experience in data analysis on Excel and creating engaging presentations on Powerpoint
Proficiency in organising events using tools such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or similar
Proficiency in engagement and collaboration tools such as Forms, Mentimeter, Miro, Padlet
Proficiency in image and video-editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop and video-making software
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Creative, with a flair for photography and storytelling
Independent, organised and meticulous
