Job Description

What the role is:

MTI\'s Energy Division is responsible for formulating Singapore\'s energy policies and strategies, together with the Energy Market Authority and other Government agencies. This includes developing and maintaining competitive energy markets, driving the development and deployment of alternative sources of energy, and promoting international cooperation. The Energy Markets and Planning team within the Energy Division takes the lead in (i) planning for Singapore\'s energy transition and resilience, (ii) strengthening Singapore\'s gas and electricity markets and our national grid infrastructure, and (iii) developing horizontal enablers for the energy sector such as manpower and skills development.

What you will be working on:

We are looking for driven and capable officers who (i) thrive working in a fast-moving environment, (ii) are adept working with multiple stakeholders within and outside the public sector, and (iii) have experience in providing administrative support. The officer will be responsible for the following: \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide administrative support to the team, including security clearance for external visitors/meeting attendees, booking of venues for meetings, putting up administrative approvals for events and trips, and working with the MTI Registry to file documents. \xe2\x80\xa2 Process financial documents for the team, including processing of invoices, tracking of cashflow and budget utilisation.

What we are looking for:

You should have: \xe2\x80\xa2 Proficiency with Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in data entry, computation and analysis \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
